OWNER:

Rick Perkins lives in Loveland, CO. with his wife of 14 years and two children.  In a life prior to Fantasy Football Trader his hobbies were bass fishing, fly-fishing and any other excuse to get up into the mountains with the family over the weekend.

Rick began playing dynasty league Fantasy Football in 1995 and is entering his 14th season.  He has enjoyed a verifiable 75%+ cash rate in the leagues he plays with experince in many formats - auction, dynasty rookie and regular redraft formats.  In his "home" dynasty league Rick posted fantasy championships in '02, '04, '05 and '06 and a 3rd place cash in '07.  A second place blemish in 2003 with a 3 point loss prevented the 5-peat.

As a member in good standing with the Fantasy Sports Writers Association, Rick's expertise in dynasty league valuations and advanced trade strategy is unparalelled by anyone in the fantasy sports industry.

Robb Perkins was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. where he lives today with his wife of 15 years and five children.  To say life is hectic is an understatement!  Between home life and Fantasy Football Trader there isn't much time for anything else.  When a break presents itself Robb like's to bass fish and play video games with the boys.

Robb began playing fantasy football in 1994 and is entering 15th season, including his 13th as commish of the "home" dynasty league (that includes Rick and Dave).  He has won two championships but is in a third place drought lately.

Robb's other job has him dealing with numbers and stats all day and he prides himself on gathering statistics that the average person may not even think about.  Then applying those numbers toward helping you crush your competition.  His motto is "Stat's don't lie" and he's a valuable resource for the F.F.T. community to have on their side.

OWNER:

Dave

Dave Fosdick lives in Evans, Colorado, with his wife of ten years Holly, 3 daughters, and loyal dog Crash Davis.  Sports have always been a passion and currently coaches wrestling and of course coaching his daughters in whatever sport they are in at the present time. There never seems to be enough hours in the day to get everything done but fantasy football never seems like work anyway.

Dave  has been playing Fantasy Football Since 1994.  He has competed in 31 total leagues and has notched 8 championships,  4 runner-ups, and 17 top 3 finishes.  Dave has failed to make the playoffs THREE!? times in all of his teams ever that used H2H format.  The strengths to Dave’s FF game comes through rock-solid drafts and building the team through free agency, He rarely makes more then 1 or 2 trades a year and only minor moves.

Dave’s passion is in creating fantasy contests that truly test the participants skills but are not your cutout token league based on the same rules every other site uses.

Freelance Staff:  Jon Rascon

The "Godfather of Fantasy Football", Jon Rascon has been playing fantasy football for 15 years and has yet to see "luck" play a part in any of the countless championships he's won.

A native Iowan, but Floridian at heart, Jon takes every opportunity to talk up his Miami Hurricanes. He has two daughters, Savannah and Lydia, also represent The U whenever possible.

In his spare time, Jon loves watching football, boxing and youtube videos of Kimbo Slice. He also blogs on about his life in general at http://jonrascon.blogspot.com

Freelance Staff: Jeremy Fischer

Jeremy Fischer is a native Texan, having grown up in Houston and earned a degree in Theatre from the University of Texas.   His life was permanently altered by Vince Young and the Longhorns’ National Championship in 2005.

He currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife of 8 years, his 5-month old daughter Grace and his very “manly” dog Tex (he goes all of 10lbs. soaking wet).

He was first introduced to fantasy gaming when his family started a Fantasy NASCAR league 10 years ago—a league that still exists today, and a league where he’s never lost money.  He expanded to Fantasy Baseball and Fantasy Football a couple years after that, and is now even caught participating in Fantasy Golf.

Obviously hired for his tremendous good looks, he dispenses fine fantasy knowledge as well.  Since 2006, his work can be found at www.getsportsinfo.com.  He currently hosts a Fantasy Baseball podcast entitled Fantasy Fastball, which can be found at www.getsportsradio.com, where he dispenses fantasy baseball gems.  He is the current champion of the GetSports house league (thank you Aaron Stecker).

Freelance Staff: Erik Blomain

Erik Blomain is 21 years old and currently a Senior at Cornell University, where he studies Biology and Classical History. He one day hopes to be a doctor, but currently moonlights as a sports talk radio personality on 93.5 WVBR FM Ithaca and as an analyst for the Cornell Investment Club where he helps manage a large portfolio. His interest in fantasy sports began at age 13, and since then he has participated in many leagues each year, notching multiple championships in the process.

As he grew up so did his understanding of fantasy baseball. His experience in science and finance give him the tools to evaluate the fantasy market from an economic and statistical standpoint. His strategy involves exploiting the inefficient market that is fantasy football- acquiring statistics and players that are undervalued and selling those that are overvalued. As a result of this approach, his rosters typically have high turnover rates as he makes many, many trades per season. His high school league-mates have long since stopped trading with him because of his reputation for being able to sell crap to anyone and getting gold in return.

Erik is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, has a girlfriend of 5 years, Dara."

Special Contributor - John Tuvey

JohnTuvey
Fantasy Sports Writer of the Year '07 - 3rd place.

Born and raised in Minnesota, John was scarred for life at an early age by the Vikings’ loss in Super Bowl VIII… and again in SB IX… and yet again in SB XI. While the anguish that goes with being a Vikings fan continues, John has found other football triumphs he can call his own. A four-year career at Division III power St. John’s University under the legendary John Gagliardi—the winningest coach in college football history—gave John a great view of the field… and they actually let him play in eight games, too!

It was about this time that John discovered fantasy football, and over the past 20 years he’s played in countless leagues and earned numerous titles—from "repeat champion" to "perennial contender" to "that &%#@$*!". John has also spent the past nine years helping others win their leagues by sharing his thoughts about fantasy football through a variety of outlets; in fact, in 2007 he was a finalist for the FSWA’s prestigious Fantasy Football Writer of the Year award.

John has also appeared on several radio stations across the country and co-hosts Fantasy Football Weekly in Minneapolis as well as the Fantasy Football Pants Party podcast. It goes without saying, then, that his wife of 13 years is a very understanding woman and his four children not only know who Adrian Peterson is but could tell you his 40 time.

Jon Lopuch, known to friends and enemies alike as “Pooch,” began experimenting with fantasy football in 1994, when his father allowed him to run a team in his work league. After finishing fourth out of 12 teams against men almost four times his age, Pooch was hooked and has been playing competitively ever since.

Upon graduating from Marquette University he joined the staff of Fanball.com and Fantasy Football Weekly, where he stayed for over three years. His work has also appeared in numerous other outlets, including America Online, Rototimes, Fantasy Cup and NFL Draft Stock. A social hermit who is unnaturally bald and often described euphuistically as “portly”, Pooch is single and lives in Minneapolis, MN.
